What Does It Take To Become An ICT Student

       An international network is important for my future career. I seek to get inspired by new challenges and cross-disciplinary interactions by studying ICT. Being an ICT student , it takes advance knowledge for my future.

       Networking will be a natural part in our life as a student of ICT. It is the right choice for us student who has recognized that many global challenges we are facing need well-educated people with different set of skills. When I enter ICT it enables me to be more realistic. Being a student is the time of life when you should acquire all sorts of experiences. You may be the potential student of embedded system, trained in the design and testing of the development of embedded hardware and software. Well there is probably little to be learn from not doing some such things, learning from others have done and their hands of experience is of great value.

       You will not probably have much spare time during your time as a master student in the ICT, but you will be set up the best possible options for where you see yourself working in an innovative organization,solving the challenges of the society for tomorrow.

My Dream, My Future

        What is your dream in the future? If you asked me this question in my childhood, I would say: I want to be a teacher, a doctor, an artist and so on... but now if you asked me this question, I will tell you, I have three dreams, to be respected person, life very colorful and to finish my study and to have a great job.
         First, I want to be a respected person. I know many people want to be a famous person because they think maybe many people will adore and respected them, but in my opinion, I want to be an ordinary person . The reason why I want to be an ordinary person because I want to be a low-pitched person. If you want to be a respected people first you must respect the other people and respect yourself.
         Second, I want my life colorful. I think life is not only work hard, but also we must know how to enjoy our life. Enjoy life doesn't waste money; we should use many to do some significative things. For instance, we can contribute our money to help the homeless children. We can travel somewhere to see the nature scene, we can buy book or collect interested things to enrich our life, and we also have time to play with our family.
           Third, I want to  finish my study so that I can help my parents for their sacrifices if I have great job. I want to have a better life. I hope my life in the future will be successful. I know everyone has their own dream, so I hope their dreams also come true.

Change: It Starts With Me

        Everything starts from a small thing. Too often, we tend to blame our circumstances on individuals or forces outside ourselves. We need to start it off right and the place where we need to start. Change In Me !

         A lot of change and transformation in life occurs not because someone else is different, not because their attitude got better, but because our attitude improved. Stop blaming others and make the change in attitude begins ourselves. When we starts making the efforts to change, the conflicts in our life begin transforming.

          As we grow, there's always a change within our physical and also in emotional. And if we want to have a better life, we should change our laziness in ourselves. we must be strong enough to fulfill our dreams. If you know "CHANGE" can help us to reach our goals. To have a progressive country we should improve within ourselves or change that might not help in improving. A lot of problems that we are going to solve an by changing it might help.

           I am asking you to understand that change is necessary and stretch your borders wide and set your heart to receive the word of God and change God is expecting more from us. Start letting your motto is, if its to be, it starts with me.

Kannawidan: The Ylocos Festival

            Vigan Philippines which is located in Ilocos Sur Province, is famous for the old massive stonewalls and Spanish brick houses which date back to the Spanish colonization period. Ilocos Sur has a rich heritage and unique culture. However, it is observed that many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano culture are no longer familiar with the younger generations.

            It is significant historical event was achieved by the people of Ilocos Sur as the maiden "Kannawidan Ilocos Festival" was successfully held to showcase its long time hidden talents, its old and indigenous costumes, traditions, cultures and products. As a part of it, there were also an artist who visited the Vigan Fiesta. In fact, they gave fun to others who watched them during the night that time.

            Kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices, traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products. This festival is very significant to every residence in the province as we are celebrating the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal Decree. 

A Time for Reflection

         Third grading period is soon to over that's why I've learn again a lot of topics about Tags.

       Tags !Tags !Tags ! Just like we learn on the Second grading, our topic this third grading is all about tags. From the start we learn basic tags and as we go on our lesson our teacher in ICT discuss more about Tags that's why I was little bit harden from it but as we go with it  I already easily got the topic. I've learn how to apply background image and color, display an images of a page, to apply font color, font size on a word of sentence. Learning about tags is interesting and exciting on what can be the result of what you've done. I have encountered much about the challenges that we taken up. But I realize that this challenges will be my inspiration to study hard.

        One more grading left and I expect that more topics we will en counter in the next grading. I hope that just like the past grading's I will enjoy and learn more. 

New Year,New Me

       Another fresh new year is here, another year to live ! To banish worry, doubt and fear, to love and laugh and give. The bright new year is given me to live each day with the zest, to daily grow and try to be my highest and my best. I have the opportunity, once more to right some wrongs. To pray for peace, to plant a tree, and sing more joyful songs.

       As we begin 2012, I'm creating a new me, a new woman namely TIFFANY. After considering agent feedback and market trends, advice from some of my wise friends, and other members of my family, I decided to make a change. I truly believe that determination is what make us succeed, blind determination isn't always helpful either. As a students, it's easy to fear the unknown. To ask, "what if" ? what if the words don't come ? For anyone, really, it's easy to ask "what if" until one paralyzed by fear. Have you ever felt like that ? I know I have. This year I want to be strong enough to fight back against those who attack me and to trust those who are there for me.

       In doing so, I'll have a greater opportunity to showcase the romantic journey not only from the heroine's perspective, but from the hero's as well. 

Keeping In Mind Our Mother Tongue

       It has a very powerful impact in the formation of the individual our mother language spoken in the world represents a special culture, melody, color, and asset and to everyone the mother language is certainly one of the most precious treasures in our lives. Whatever the reason, while such phenomenon may have a lot of benefits such as education, desire for a better life, living in another country affects one's mother tongue.
       Knowing another language has been proven to contribute in helping us to understand our mother tongue better. Its duty and responsibilities to preserve it and pass it down from generation to generation. Learning another language brings a lot of advantages in our life. The ability to converse in a language is developed through the mother tongue. A strong foundation in their first language will contribute to learning another language and help them develop stronger literacy skills in the school language, because children literacy knowledge and abilities transfer across languages from mother tongue to the language the child is learning at school. What immigrant families are not often aware of is that many of children are at risk of losing their mother tongue.
       Keeping mother tongue in a foreign country does not spontaneously. Instead, it is an achievement that requires commitment and determination, especially from the family. Parents must establish a strong home language policy and make consistent efforts to help their children develop good literacy skills in their first language.
